For the indoor protection of iron and steel surfaces exposed to chemicals and corrosion. Due to chalking, in outdoor applications overcoating with an additional polyurethane coating is recommended.
R-EPOX coatings are silky gloss, hard, resistant to water and chemicals. Can be applied by pneumatic and airless spraying as well. It can be dried at room temperature and at higher temperatures as well.
Mix the two components in adequate ratio and add R-Epox thinner to adjust proper viscosity for spraying.
R-EPOX finish can be applied in 1 or 2 layers onto substrates coated with REPOX primer. Application of the second R-EPOX layer is recommended after a six hours interval of drying. Full curing takes 24 hours at room temperature, or 30 minutes at 90oC.

Our R&D Department elaborates paint formulations for industrial use. Primary task is to realize FKI's own product development targets. Technical Service lab is part of the R&D department, which adjusts the paint parameters to customers' requirements and renders direct technical assistance.

The preconditions of the successful execution of painting and surface-protection process are the elaboration of the technology most suitable for on-site needs, the correct choice of the coating and the monitoring of the execution.
