Grants odourless, fast drying aesthetic coating. Paint can be applied by brushing or low/high pressure spraying.
Apply DOMEX enamel paint at a temperature above 10ºC onto a dry wood substrate after the impregnation with a fungicide and painted with the Domex primer. To produce an aesthetic and durable coating apply 1 layer of primer and 1 layer of enamel, each layer in 200-220 μm wet thickness. For better results sanding between coats is appropriate. Both primer and enamel paint can be diluted by max. 10-15% water to adjust proper viscosity for rolling, brushing or low pressure spraying. For high pressure spraying no dilution is necessary. The layers can be overcoated after drying 2 hours at room temperature. The paint does not contain poisonous ingredients in concentrations harmful to health. Environmentally friendly, non-flammable!
Our R&D Department elaborates paint formulations for industrial use. Primary task is to realize FKI's own product development targets. Technical Service lab is part of the R&D department, which adjusts the paint parameters to customers' requirements and renders direct technical assistance.
We take part in national and international development projects in cooperation with industrial partners and university research teams.
Research and DevelopmentThe aim of the paint industry experts' work is to ensure high quality surface-protection job for the customers. The preconditions of the successful execution of painting and surface-protection process are the elaboration of the technology most suitable for on-site needs, the correct choice of the coating and the monitoring of the execution.
The tests required for our expert activities are carried out according to the current MSZ EN ISO standards.
