Festékipari Kutató-Fejlesztő és Vállalkozó Kft. (FKI / Industrial Paint Research Ltd.) was founded in 1989 by the engineers and technicians at the Central Research Laboratory of the late Budalakk paint manufacturing company. A modern, competitive, independent enterprise, rooted in several decades of professional history, was established.
FKI has diverse activities in the field of industrial paints. Its services and a variety of products occupy a leading position in the market.
Our accredited laboratory carries out tests on coatings according to MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards;
Our technical service experts develop coating technologies, and render services in the field of quality control and of surface protection works;
Our Research and Development (R&D) department develops coatings according to the clients’ individual requirements;
Our paint production plant manufactures paints developed by our R&D team on direct customers’ orders.
Our most important target is to provide ”tailor made” solutions – products and services – to suit perfectly the needs of our clients.

Since 1990 in accordance with the standard EN ISO/IEC 17025 and since 2009 in compliance with the EN ISO 9001:2008 and EN ISO 14001:2008 the Testing Laboratory and the Company has been certificated.
