Field of application: Due to its high solids content a PURAKRIL primer can be applied in thick layers and so it is able to fill in the smaller uneven areas of the substrate.
PURAKRIL filler is applied as an intermediate layer of coating systems between the primer and the finish. It is suitable to hide minor unevenness of metal or wood surfaces. The PURAKRIL filler primer coating polishes well either dry or wet and after drying can be finished with any type of enamel. PURAKRIL filler primer contains also an anticorrosion pigment and so it can be used to advantage to coat surfaces cleaned down to metal, e.g. when painting a motor-car. Coatings made with PURAKRIL finish are tough, elastic, weather-resistant and not apt to chalking or changing their colour. The PURAKRIL coatings preserve their decorative appearance and other advantageous properties through long periods of time. PURAKRIL enamels come very useful in cases when the application of a stoving enamel is indicated but the size or material of the substrate does not allow stoving.
PURAKRIL finish is applied by spraying. The coatings can be dried at ambient as well as at higher (90°C) temperatures. |
